Nose Contouring Surgery (
Rhinoplasty )
Nasal contouring surgery is truly a work of
art. Being the center of the face, many persons appearance
centers around the appearance of the nose. Perspectives of
nose shape differs between men and women. Men are traditionally
given more critical leeway when their nose is larger or has
signs of old trauma. Nose shape often adds to perceived

in the soft inner tissue referred to as mucosa. This
tissue once cut is separated from the underlying cartilage or
bone and instruments are used to reduce the surfaces of these
areas. Cartilage can be reshaped, added, or removed.
Typically this surgery last 1-2 hours. Some surgeons
choose to pack the nose after the surgical procedure. The
nostrils may be packed 24-72 hours. Most swelling
and bruising begin to resolve in 14 days, however, the the
real results don't become evident for about 3
months. Final results can take 12-24 months.
