Endermologie: The European Treatment for Cellulite

Endermologie is a treatment aimed cellulite reduction.  Though this treatment for cellulite hasn't become a FDA sanctioned therapy, it  has received some positive press regarding the outcomes of this European cellulite reduction protocol.  This therapy utilizes a suction roller device that essentially breaks apart fat deposits that have been compartmentalized in the skin.  This compartmentalizing is what gives cellulite its honey-comb appearance. The idea is to treat the surface compartments and restore the skin with a smoother less dimpled appearance.  This does not eliminate fat in the body.  It is best performed with a good weight loss program, as when the body stores fat, it does so all over.  The therapy protocol calls for 5-10 half hour treatments.  These cellulite reduction treatments traditionally run $75-$150 dollars per session.
